SYMCA STATEMENT FOLLOWING THE DEATH OF HER MAJESTY THE QUEEN

The South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority offers its deepest condolences to the Royal Family following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Hers was a life of dignity, service and commitment to our country across more than 70 years. As a mark of respect, the flag outside the MCA’s headquarters has been lowered.

If anyone in South Yorkshire wishes to pay their respects to the Royal Family at this time of national mourning, an online book of condolence will be made available on the Royal Family website. Cards of condolence will shortly be available at bus interchanges across the region.
