Amazon – Construction of a new £100m logistics facility for retail giant Amazon is currently underway at Doncaster’s iPort, following a long and productive working relationship with Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council and Sheffield City Region. The bespoke 1.1 million square foot warehouse is the size equivalent of 14 football pitches. Set to open next year, the new iPort facility will be Amazon’s third fulfilment centre in Doncaster, following the completion of existing facilities in Balby Carr Bank and Water Vole Way.
